Looked like a man to me!! WOW! That's some voice..

I think getting hit in the nut$ might produce a 'different' set of notes

It's a man, but good lord I couldn't even begin to hit that kind of a note. He must have great vocal cords.

My GOODNESS what a voice! A Norwegian pop star with a 4-octave range was just found dead in his bed yesterday morning. His doctor's theory is that singing all that falsetto simply put too much cummulative strain on his heart. If the autopsy bears this out, then this guy is living dangerously! But what a show while it lasts! Anybody know enough Russian to tell us what the song is about?

Oh my what a voice. Imagine if he's a screamer tho... you'd have to live WAY out in the country.

Yes, I know plenty of Russian. The song is about a lonely person in his house. The weather and the rain that knocks into his windows. He understands and accepts his loneliness and knows that the door is closed behind him.

Vitas is a very popular Russian singer. He is one of the superstars who can sing operas and his this brilliant soprano. But has done very well in pop music.

    Don't Forget About Minnie Riperton

I got to see her in 1978, a month before I left the Bay Area for Seattle and a year before she died of breast cancer. She opened for Al Green. A great double bill if there ever was one.

Here is a link to a bio of her where it states she had a five octave voice.

    or for a sample

    Yes, SHE can.
