    Brick workout report...10/2

    Well,
So far, doing good. Brought my time down again this week. Ran my two mile leg in 16:21. Down from 17:04. That was the good news.

The bad news was that our fastest riding buddy showed up for the mt bike portion of the training, and with nobody else to moderate the pace , he and DH were CRAZY and it was soooooooooooooooooooooo hard.
I actually said "uncle". In almost a year of riding with this guy I have never said "enough" well last night...after 11 miles of mt biking I said..."enough" My DH turned aound and said what is wrong, are you hurt?

Nope I replied, you guys are riding about a mile an hour over my race pace. I have been red lined for 11 miles and I am done!!!!!!!

that what does not kill you...or something like that...........

    YIKES!!!!

Whoa. That sounds really tough. I am quite impressed with your two miles in 16 min. Good for you! When's your race?

We are doing a small off road tri this weekend, but the brick workouts are for an off road run, bike, run on Oct 29th. I know the course and it is really hilly and it is going to be tough.
