    Wheeee!
Wish I'd done a ride today. Daughter and I were planning on riding home from yesterday's big party (husband and his sister's partner's 60th birthdays -- big dinner, dance, etc. up in H*ll). Guess it's just as well we couldn't fit the bikes in the car along with all the cakes, sleeping bags, clothes, etc. This morning as we were cleaning up, it was POURing rain! Forecast is better tomorrow, so I'll ride to work. But meanwhile, I'll just have to live vicariously. So:
Tell more! Where'd you go? What'd you see?
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

Sadly I mostly stuck to a major road that has decient shoulders. I road into the next town and down to the church that i attend sometimes. So not much pretty to look at but at least the weather was great. Also got some cars honking... dont know if thats a complement to my rear or some fellow bikers caging it? hehe. Iam mostly proud that i stuck with it and really pushed myself.

High-five yourself! Glad to hear you're enjoying it. It really can be nice riding with a buddy, though riding alone has its advantages too. Keep us posted on your progress! And keep having fun!

Great job!!! I too made my longest ride this weekend, 20 miles.

I have to ask where was the picture of you taken? It looks a lot like the Anasazi ruins to me.

Keep up the riding it just keeps getting better!!!

    Most excellent, G-Girl!

Its fabulous each time you go just that little bit further, know you can do it, and feel proud of it.

    Well done
