Nice and cool ride in. 42 degrees with a 34 degree windchill. So far my leg warmers, a base layer under my jersey and my windbreaker has been enough to keep me warm. I did dig out the full fingered gloves, as my fingers are the first things to get cold. I just love riding this time of year!

    How was your ride?

Uneventful ride to and from work. I held the elevator for a disabled woman at BART and was warmly thanked. Drivers good to indifferent, pedestrians in rare form (walking right into me). What's with the joggers IN the bike lane?? It was one of the worst days I've ever had at work, quite glad I rode. The weather was beautiful.

TOday the cop clocked me at 14 mph :-) One of these days I"ll get on the blue bike... well, except he's there because there's a ton of traffic and a mess of middle schoolers. Blasting through at 22 would make the ego happy... but be too crazy.

It's not my usual route, now that I found a much quieter one, but it's a fun side trip.

Got to bike in today, after 3 days of not riding due to intermittent fever. Good to get back out. Air temperature started below 50F, forcing me to stop mid-way and shed some layers. Nice day. Good ride, avg 15.9.
Oil is good, grease is better.
