I'm wondering if I made a mistake changing doctors. My "physical" consisted of him asking questions while looking at my paperwork, then giving me a referral for some blood work. ooooookaaaay... There was a nurse that weighed me, took my temperature and blood pressure. Hell, I never even got to put on the lovely paper gown. For this I shaved my legs? Glad he was just substituting for my real PCP - he told me to come back in 6 months to see her.
My massage was lovely, even if it was a bit painful. Knots have been vanquished, all is well with the world.
so happy to hear snap!

You only get the paper gown when you are not ready for it.Just Kidding. I am glad he was just substituting. My nurse never takes my temp-a test a could pass.
Oh I hate th edredded scale. No matter what I go in for I am weighed before I allowed into the room.
Yippee!!Good thing you did not name the now gone knots.
I would give almost anything for a god massage about now. Enjoy a knot free back.![]()

Snap, I'm glad your knots have left you feeling a bit better!
DoW, my computer is not set up right, so I couldn't watch the video, but loved the story. Dogs are amazing.
BMo3, so far they've never weighed me. Maybe I'm not sick enough.![]()
I saw my specialist today and am trying entocort, the mildest of the steroid drugs for Crohn's. The scope did not find anything, but the other test indicated that the problem is in an area beyond the reach of the scope.
I had two good energy days this week, and today was pretty low. I will try to lift weights, slowly and not very much again tonight to see if I can work through this fatigue. I also note that the times that I have enjoyed a half glass of wine, which is forbidden on the diet, the following day is a good day. Wine, anyone?

If it works, go for it!
Several studies have said a glass of wine a day is good for your heart and helps prevent problems from over-active inflammation responses.

Not being ill enough would be a good thing.
I hope it works for you.![]()
2 out of 7 is progress, yes? I do hope your good days continue to improve. I am not a doctor, yet I say go with what works for your body. Just be certain the alcohol does not interact with the medicine.
I am wishing you increased good days.![]()

Thanks for the votes of confidence Knot and BMo3! Alcohol was one of the foods I tested as sensitive to, according to the naturopathic testing, so I am supposed to avoid it as carefully as wheat, corn, dairy and sugar (and all those other things).
But, screw it. I'm about to pour that glass as soon as I get the potatoes mashed!

Cr@p!! I never thought about there being wheat in soy sauce. I'm off to the fridge to read some ingredients.
It's so hard to avoid all wheat products.
Edit: Just came back from the fridge, wheat is the second bloody ingredient in the d@mn soy sauce from the health foods section of my store.

Western Family soy sauce, $1.49 for a big ol' bottle, NO WHEAT!!! whoo-hoo! I'm thinkin' your Roseaur's probably has Western Family?
Sometimes the wheat-free versions of things are cheaper than the 'regular' stuff.
