Just peeking in for a second at the end of my shift...

((((Snap)))) Yes, from the sound of it, she is a very lucky woman. So glad to hear she is doing well.

    (((((((((Snap's Mom))))))))

CWR - It's snowing again here and this time I think we will get a decent accumulation. I'm still not sure how I feel about it though. AG, OTG and I are planning a ride on the Conewingo Trail this saturday. I hope it doesn't ruin our plans. I've never ridden in the snow before.

CC - As I am a sun baby, please enjoy the hot weather for me.

BMo3 - So, did you eat ALL of the chocolate yet or what?

Kit - hope today was a better day. Give 'em h*ll!!

Well, they are kicking me out so I'll see y'all later. I'm gonna go see if I know how to lock in my 4WD.
    Oh, that's gonna bruise...

    SNOW RIDING IS EXCELLENT!!!!!
Just mind your balance, don't try to stop, etc etc. my 21st b-day present to myself was to take my bike and go riding in 3-6" deep snow all over Brown's Camp (on the way to the coast) Tons of fun. Bogged a little, but hey. That was in the 6" deep parts.
With your big wide tires you'll be fine. Like Snowshoes, I tell ya.

Careful if ya crash, but at least you'd get more of a slide action and less friction/gravel/etc etc

On giving 'er hell... I'm doin' the best I can with what I got.

She just turned 79. I just talked to her on the phone - she's pi$$ed she has to stay overnite at the hospital. Cranky is normal for her, so that's a good sign. I even got her to agree she needs to start walking more for exercise.

Yeah, it's a good sign. Dad just got home - he's "brain dead" to quote him. Fed him, gave him a glass of wine; he'll probably fall asleep on the couch in about 20 minutes.

This is a helluva way for me to get time off work.....but I'll take it!

You better not be tooo cranky!

Non-sequitur: I'm eating almonds, and my dog is begging for them. he loves potatoes and almonds and warm microwaved carrots.

    My dog is odd.

I had a Siamese cat when I was growing up who had a grand passion for canned asparagus.

My current Abby cat, Nina, thinks that the liquid from canned chick peas is beyond exciting.

PS Snap, my mom had this surgery some years ago and did fine. Best to yours--sounds like a strong character (why are we not surprised...).

Trek is as cranky as she needs to be. I think that's generally called feisty, but can tip over into cranky when provoked. Warning: Don't make her need to be cranky

Feisty is good! Even cranky is good! Especially in "old" ladies. Go Snap's Mom!!!

Trek: What was the undoglike snack that Koko was fond of? Was it almonds? Or strawberries? Or both? Or something else? Do you remember? I'm getting old and not only cranky but also forgetfull.

My Ted cat loves asparagus. Actually stole some from the dog's mouth once! The dog, to be fair, had no idea what he was supposed to do with the vegetable dangling from him mouth!

Our Diva dog is on call again this morning as she may be needed to donate a bit more blood. She's a little heroine!

    Hugs to Snap's mom.

    Cranky "old" ladies rule!

Who was it that said something about it being old ladies' privilege and duty to be cranky. Maybe because they know more than the rest of us and haven't got time to waste on foolishness. Mom might remember. Trek, if you see or talk to Mom this weekend, ask her. I'm off to another spin class. Have a good weekend TE/TD ladies!!! Ittj gjør nåles (local dialect for don't get into any trouble).
