Jeez you two. Just couldn't wait could you? hehe. Ok, ok. Yes I bought a bike today at AG's LBS. But, I had an agreement with BMo3 that I was going to call her so she could talk me out of buying a bike. As you've already read, she did not hold up her end of the bargain. So, I am now the owner of a new mtb.

It is a 2007 Specialized Hardrock Pro 17". Alum frame, hydraulic disc brakes, hardtail, color scheme Raw Distressed. It rained like crazy on the way home so she's already had her first bath. I need to get some SPD's for her yet. Oh, she's already shared her name with me... Pounce. She has shown quite an affinity for jumping over and off stuff. So much fun. Now she just needs a riding partner to play with.

X - I like the paint scheme! (very "user friendly"!) congrats on the new bike! And I'm glad no-one talked you out of it.

Well, nice try, but that can't be a true troll. Real trolls turn to stone if they're out in daylight. This one (http://home.hib.no/mediesenter/mytob...kitt.troll.jpg)
has been "stoned" so long he's got trees growing on him. At that stage you can safely camp underneath them, or fish alongside them, or whatever.

On the way to the airport, crossing the river from H@ll to Vćrnes, there's a bridge with a door in it. We think a troll lives there, but we've never seen it. Apparently it's a smart troll that never goes out in daylight.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

Trolls, huh? TD is so educational. Never know what you might learn here.

I'll admit to being mechanically inclined. The cool part is continually ruined by hot flashes

X, congrats on the new bike.

Kit, hope you're settled into the new place. Take care.

I forgot something important this weekend. A fellow trail worker was having heart surgery last week and I meant to go visit at the hospital over the weekend. I need to remember to call him today. Hope he's doing all right. And I still haven't made that bike cover for my daughter. But Fedora Core 6 is now running on my computer.

    *The Power of TE-TD*

You can suspect you know someone's TE-TD behaviour a little too well when you see they aren't doing their ususal early morning TE stuff, you think they may have forgotten to turn on their alarm, so you call them to wake them up. From hundreds of miles away!

Oh, yeah, the power of the internet!

they were on, I slept through both

But the 3rd alarm (cold wet doggie nose) and 4th (phone ring) got me going. I like to be up a couple hours before I have to leave, this morning's a bit rushed ahem. Good morning TE TD .... off to work.

Quick click your heel three times and say, "there is not place like home".

    Did it work?
