CWR - I love it too. My DH always gets me spa packages for gifts and they are SOOOOOO good. I do the hydrotherapy, and facials, and peds and mans, and hair...... Iknow Iknow I gotta do the massage.....

    I'll think about it.

    Glad you are rejuvenated

Lisa-those are some small ribcage measurements per cup ratio, IMO.

Mimi- Yes, I have been through a lot in my time so far on this planet. Each trial has brought growth. I am strong and will get through whatever is thrown at me. Not to fear, I am not a Pollyanna. Far from it. Some days I feel as though I am the Universe's sh!t magnet.

CWR- I am so glad you enjoyed your spa day and your new hair. Pics, we need pics of your new hair style.

Dar-sorry you had a rough day. I hope your little man was able to help you smile.

Yup, work's going well. TIRED every day after coming home, though. I hope I have more gas in my tank when I'm biking there and back. Still working out insurance stuff, etc, and waiting on my copy of the shower room key. The hours will probably be easier on me once I'm used to getting up so early.

It looks like it's going to be an easy bike in, though, and pretty, too.

X- Suuure... interrupted. oh, and you *are* part of the center of the universe... in a round-about sort of way. Don't ask how- I just play w/ the space/time continuum.

CWR- I've always wanted one of those jerseys, too. Someday... someday. *hugs*

's it for now. I used to chatter so much but... too tired right now. ttfn.

Hello TD, this is me avoiding working on report cards.

I went to work today, back from the land o' puke. Turns out a lot of kids in my class were sick over the weekend too, plus 3 away today, two more who went home sick during the day. Oh the joys of working with 7 yo's. Joy of joys, the most challenging little boy in my room was away! WHAT a freakin' difference. It was the first time he's been away all year. Sigh....

Then went for my massage after work. Haven't seen her for a year and half and certainly not since I've been biking. Apparently I have developed some new muscles (yay!). Bad side is she says I need to do more stretching after riding because my calves were "congested" and my IT band (?) is stuck to the muscle? Whatever, something hurt when she rubbed the side. Guess I'd better start stretching after my longer rides...

    - those bra sizes are way off the wall for me. Whatever happened to B and C cups???!

BMO3 - wow, tough pregnancies/deliveries! Was it related to your current condition in any way? Scary. I was on bed rest for 3 months with my last but I think it was just a precaution. Had no problems other than contracting all the time. Apparently my uterus was "irritable". After three months laying on my side on the couch, I was irritable too. So glad your boys turned out fine after such a scary beginning in life.

Well I can avoid it no longer. Gotta start writing them...

Yeah try finding bras if you are a 38B. A few years ago I was a 38A and it was impossible! I've been uncomfortable with the cheap sport bras I've been wearing- they ride up in the back while I'm biking- have to keep yanking them down again- yuk.
Hey I read somewhere that fashion designers are having to alter their clothing for bigger busted women if they are going to sell their lines in CA or NYC...because so many women were getting breast implants in the cities of either coast and couldn't fit into the "regular" shaped line anymore. Scary. Thanks anyway, but I don't want to have cleavage on the TOPS of my breasts when I'm just standing naked.

But i DID find some great comfy bras this weekend....finally!!
Of all things, I got UnderArmour sport bras and they are incredibly comfortable, supportive, but not binding. Weirdly, I had to get the Large, even though I am not a large woman, just an average medium sized woman. Go figure. Anyway, I got 2 black and a white, and now I'm set for a couple of years I guess. Yay!

I like the look of that sports bra. I am trying to find one that has two straps instead of the single strap up the back. I find the centre of my back sweats so much I just can't stand it.

I think my throat is returning to normal. Serves me right for screaming like a school girl. Yes, we danced, we sang, we hooted and hollered. I think we sat down for maybe one song - a ballad. After the show ended, Ann and I just sat there watching them dismantle the stage. We didn't want the magic to end. An usher finally came and told us we had to leave

Prince is Prince again, instead of the bizarre symbol thingy. I didn't get a chance to check out his new club - it's at the Rio. It sounded kind of cool on the website though.

My body is still detoxing from the alcohol and the smoky casinos. We found a lovely little bar at MGM in the West Wing. Small, quiet. No one seems to know about it. Had a fantastic LemonDrop made with Hangar One Fraiser River Raspberry vodka. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Still need to catch up on my sleep, I almost nodded off at my desk today!

named my daughter angie. she always cried when we played that song to her though. weird kid.

hangar one fraser river raspberry vodka. interesting. never heard of it but since I grew up on the fraser river and picked raspberries as a kid, next to the airport.... had to google it. sure enough, it's from MY fraser valley. cool.

I'd love to see the stones. Wonder if they'll ever come to Kelowna? Reminds me of when i saw my hero Elton in Kelowna, three years ago. I WON the tickets on the radio, then got the best seats so I was about 20 feet away from him. Small venue (5000 seats) and then, wait for it - he signed my original yellow brick road album, in front of everyone. Talk about screaming like a teenager!!!! OMG, he and I held the same album at the same time. We did sign language communication. OMG, I am still swooning.... What can I say, I am a child of the 70's....

it's been a rather painful work day. cut my finger while wiping down an xray table (no idea how), smacked my noggin hard on an overhead fluoro tv - but stayed on my feet (barely) and almost lost my lunch over a pt who was hacking up a lot of, um, misplaced phlegm. i feel so d@mn lucky to be healthy and alive tonight. feeling kinda lazy and mellow right now. Dusty Springfield (memphis recordings) on the stereo. cool and bluesy for an english chick. i just love her music. i'm in a retro period these days for some reason. although i'm thinking of loading some nickelback, stevie ray vaughn or kenny wayne shepard in. making some progress out of my funk...

lisa - i like the UA bras too. i've got a couple. they squish the girls a bit but i'm a 34D (almost a C again!) and i expect that. actually, i'm pretty addicted to UA like BMo3. i think i may have to turn a spare bedroom into a walk-in closet for my biking and workout clothes.

kit - it's about time you work girl. i guess i miss ya tho. eat your wheaties will ya? we need you here. oh, and i seem to be the family target when someone needs help, money or advice. you'd never know i'm actually the youngest. all quiet tonight tho. yea!

cwr - i bet you feel cooler and look oh-so-hot!! good for you. keep smiling hon. take care on your way back to AK. take even more care once your there. remember you've got a whole world of women on here who think you're amazing. we can't all be wrong. big kiss and hug to you. call if ya need it, rosie...

BMo3 - wow. i mean, WOW!! what you went through for your kids is just inspiring. i am gonna meet you in person someday even if i have to crawl there.

mimi - hey watch that language, young lady! hehehe. i was thinking the same thing on the bra size until they clarified it. phew! i was thinking i was some kinda amazon or something.

snap - my favorite stones song is honky tonk women. such a groovin' back beat and bass tone. (and really, how many rock songs have a cow bell in them?) it was born the same year i was, too. i think i may have to pull that cd out one of these days. whoops. there i went and did it. oh no... *singing*

I met a gin-soaked, barroom queen in Memphis
She tried to take me upstairs for a ride
She had to heave me right across her shoulder
'Cause I just can't seem to drink you off my mind

    It's the honky tonk women
Gimme, gimme, gimme the honky tonk blues

'scuse me. *ahem* yes, my name is X and i have a music addiction... *still dancin' around the house* I guess the funk is over!!

    cya ladies!

Tonight I've been a total music junkie. Garbage has opened the night with "A Stroke of Luck" and "#1 Crush"... washed down with Massive Attack's "Dissolved Girl" ... Rob Dougan's "Clubbed to Death I &II" and The Pixies, asking "Where is My Mind?" oh... and... "Flames" from Vast. *blush* my guilty pleasure. I love that song. It used to make me cry.

    "Where is my Mind?"
With your feet in the air and your head on the ground
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
    Your head will collapse
    If there's nothing in it
    And you'll ask yourself

    Where is my mind?

No, it's *not* downer music. Just my favorites...

*coughs and sputters in shock* Knot!
Such things are unfathomable! How coarse! "Is that how kids are talking these days?!"

Oh *SURE* then you go and delete it. Well I'm deleting mine then. or at least a chunk of it. Gruh.

    "Flames"- VAST
    ...
    When I am with you
    There's no reason to pretend
    and
    When I am with you
    I feel flames again...

*sighs all fluttery-like* ahhh.... all romantic 'n stuff. What? I'm allowed! Home alone (again, but at least the house feels nice.
