I just had to turn on the heat cuz it was so cold in the apt that SKnot was getting snotty.

Stinky Butt Dog immediately sprawled out in front of the heater fan.

oooh, electric bills.... there goes more bike money!

(c'mon, do we really need a warm place to live and food to eat? Can't we just have more bike stuff?)

I was wandering through my iPhoto, and found that pic i took of my no-saddlebags. Ha! Those jeans are now too big for me, and I don't wear them!

Don't worry, I'm not gonna take a pic of me in bike shorts and post it. (though the side view is quite nice, if I do say so myself...)

You. Are. EVIL! There was no resistance! NONE!

That's OK. You'll be sorry when my secret boyfriend, PR, wisks me away to IM France or something. Uh. huh. We'll just see then, Ms. Nanci!

You mean the pic where everyone said "No saddlebags? Huh? All we notice are your ABS, woman!"

    congrats!

Too bad heat's so expensive. I'd rather have bike stuff, too.
Work's so quiet tonight I'm hitting 'refresh' every couple of minutes just to see if something new happened on the boards. Ugh. Gonna be a long, long night.

KN, I hope you keep a journal or even just print out these posts and paste them in a journal. I know I suffered terribly from magical thinking about "making it right" with my ex. You've been miserable, we've all seen that. You can have joy, peace, love, support, sex, the whole nine yards. But you've got to make space in your life for it. And your (new) ex has shown that she cannot be that person. Stay strong, come talk to us for a solid dose of reality, and ride Flossie a lot. (((KN))) L.

I don't have any abs, that was a shadow. Really.
No abs, no saddle bags, no shame... (oh, yeah, I'm cool... I posted my butt on the internet!! Right on, dude!!!)

That shadow-y non-ab was just bait for the unwary... moooohheheh

Um... I'm pretty sure those are abs. Me an' my reading glasses say so. And if you're really stuck on saying it's just a shadow, then the shadow must have been created by your well-defined obliques. If we want to recap this discussion, it's on page 135. Remember. I'm the one who was (for however long) working on a semi-coherant table of contents for this mess of a drift!

I think our republican party would be highly impressed with the butt on the internet thing, though. Frat boys! Ugh!

DAMMIT, Trek!!! How will I get into Congress now? Oh, my political aspirations are DONE FOR!

(but the bait theory survives.... )

Those aren't abs, they're just fat and shadow. But it is a rather nice looking picture, isn't it? (and those jeans are too big now, whoo-hooo!)

Well, it was either this or the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders would have talked anyway, you could only keep that weekend under wraps for so long.

I cheated. I managed to still have the same work notebook I was using to mark points of interest (There's something for everyone!):

p96- Don't poop on the floor.
    p. 102- Dealing with lousy people
    105 Nullum vinum flaccidum
    107 Armadillo!
    110 Australian Hotties
116- Tater- All Men are Animals
    118- PR
    135- Knot's azs
    138 Brain Bucket Helmets/controversy therein/
139 Brooks B18 Downing St. ad/naked guys, hairy butts
    141 Nopale salad

...and the next page got ripped out.

I think I covered most of the important stuff from that 50 pages...

Oh, and I scribbled in a recipe for chicken soup with ginger and shoyu in it. Anyone willing to fess up to that? It was good.

I wondered if anybody would notice that! Let's see, my first sig line was about running like a dachshund (see avatar). Then one day I was thinking how much I feel like a superhero when I'm on my bike. But, hey, I'm a triathlete. So ya gotta have the swim in there. But I swim so reluctantly and haphazardly...sort of like...a three legged cat! And there you have it!

KN, I love it that those jeans are too big now. They looked mighty fine back then.

Kitsune, what are we at TD going to do when you get a job that occupies more than 1% of your brain power? I am so impressed that you've been indexing TD. Somebody needed to do it! Thanks!

Maybe fast cuz it'd want to get out of the water so badly...wish that made me swim faster! I figured that with only three legs, the cat might swim, oh, say, a bit off course now and then? Sort of like a certain 46 year old, 5' 8" tall, blonde triathlete from the midwest? I'm just lucky I don't swim in circles.
