I'm challenging others to post when they are not so good! Like, my saturday with the big greasy breakfast and the hamburger/with shake.

We are all human and get off track sometimes, but we try!

    Yesterday:

    B: None other than coffee
L: Romaine lettuce with lentils, feta and sun dried tomatoes in a lemon and herb vinagrette.
S: low fat yogurt and some peanut M & Ms
    45 minute run walk
L: Homemade veggie soup with two pieces of crusty bread
D: scoop of ice cream (my drug of choice)

    Today:
    B: low fat yogurt
L: Tuna salad on whole wheat and some salt and vinegar chips
    S: 3 Graham crackers
D: leftover shrimp and veggie stir fry over brown rice
D: Who am I kidding? I'm sure there will be ice cream

And I'm skipping yoga tonight because I'd like to get home before rain moves into the area. I have trouble seeing at night in the rain unfortunately. I'm hoping to go tomorrow night instead, plus I have lunchtime a lunch time toning tomorrow at work. Gotta work off that ice cream!

Red, the lumpy feeling came before my flight. Although I was active over the winter, I think not belonging to a gym is catching up to me. I still exercise 5 days a week, at least, but somehow my some of my trainer workouts get skimped on, as opposed to spin class and I've neglected my core.
Spoke, honestly I feel my eating is "good" almost all the time. I don't consider it "bad," if I have dessert once a week, or drink a glass of wine a few times a week. But, it seems like I can hardly do those things anymore without gaining inches or pounds. I go out to eat a lot, try to get healthy stuff (no fried food at all), but going out, even a couple of times a week puts temptations in front of me, like white flour products (i.e. really good bread), pasta, etc. I can avoid that at home by planning my meals to be low GI. I know I still look thin, but it is getting harder and harder to keep my weight where I want it.
I just need to get back on my bike and do some rides that are at least an hour...

I can't remember yesterday, but I seem to remember ice cream, pecans and chocolate chips, so I know there was dessert! I was so tired and hungry after my hard evening commute, I just inhaled a bunch of stuff and called it good.

    today (so far):
    oatmeal with strawberries and nuts
toasted roll with melted cheddar cheese
    chili with lots of veggies
a banana and some dried kiwis
scrambled eggs, oven fries and 2 slices of bread
    an orange

I'm not done. I'm thinking a bowl of cereal might be the ticket. Kind of like dessert, but more filling. Yup, it's calling my name.

    Thanks!

I like it best with Frank's Hot Sauce - either regular or chili/lime... it's my weird snack that I can't stop eating!

I love Frank's! Never occurred to me to put it on popcorn. I'm going to try it on Sunday for tv night.

Thanks for taking up the challenge! When you are traveling it is so hard to keep on track; and so easy with all the choices to go off track! That's usually what happens to me. I hope you enjoyed all that you had, it sounds absolutely wonderful!
