    Family Portrait

Here's a couple of pictures, taken last summer, of DH and I with the "kids" Buster and Dottie. Busters in blue, Dotties in pink. The kids are Schipperkes. Pronounced, skipper-kee. They have a great time when we are rolling, but like any kids they want out as soon as we stop! DH converted the trailer to a more dog friendly setup. We always get lots of smiles when we take them out.

Mine's easy too. See avatar. She is a Bouvier Des Flandres. They are supposed to be serious watch dogs and guard dogs. She doesn't even budge when a stranger has to step over her to get into the house. Oh well.

Emily- Love the photo! It's very embarrassing to admit, but I wish my head could fit into an ice cream container like that.

    Love for pets too!

Lovely pets gals, Thanks for sharing!! We are so lucky to have pets in our lives. I had a dog when I was a child till adult hood, she lived a nice long life with plenty of love, and have one again, and could almost swear she is a reincarnation of her. So much alike and both mutts, but look alot alike, like it is the same combo of breeds. Strange, this one I have now was a stray we took in. The other had been abused by the previous owner.
No growling, even about food. She is so good with little ones that have pulled on her legs and made her squeel and she still does not growl at them.
Jasmine is a cuddle bug. Smart and learns tricks quickly. She can do them by sign language, and by voice command. Laydown, roll over, shake....

and everyone hold hands and sing:

"Indiana wants her, Lord she can't go back there........"
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
