I don't get why Yukon loves the doggie beach but won't jump into a kiddie pool we have for hot summer days![]()
Does anyone's dog move into the drivers seat when you go out of the car for a minute? How about licking the floor?
She's one crazy dog!

Finn my Shiba Inu -Beagle cross is a screamer. She screams if you scare her, she screams if she thinks you are going to hurt her, she screams like she's dieing if you try and brush her, I've never heard anything like it – it's scary and sad. Last weekend she was constipated. I take my dogs to the park to walk them, and in front of about 20 people, she jumps out of the car, squats and screams and screams... Everyone watching my dog poop and scream.
I tried my best to look like I wasn't with her, but I don't think anyone believed I just happened to be holding he leash. Picking up that poop was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever had to do in my life.

One of my Border Collies used to lick windows, in the car, by the back door, near the window seat... She'd just sit there looking like she was day dreaming and slowly lick, if you asked her what she was doing she'd stop with her tongue in mid-lick and focus looking like "what? I'm not doing anything".

My Bear, who was a newf mix, adopted me from the shelter. From the minute I brought him home, his head was attached to my thigh. If I was standing still, he had his head pressed against my thigh. If I was sitting, he was standing next to me...head on my thigh. Sleeping; he would stand at the edge of my bed until I fell asleep, with his head on my thigh. He had weak hips from the day he found me, so he never jumped up to be next to me.
Cammie, our current family dog, has adopted my 2 year old. Whenever DS lays down, the dog is right next to him, head pressed against his.

Zeke always gets in the driver's seat when I leave the car. What's that about? I think it may be because I only leave him in the car when it's cold enough to leave him, and he likes the warm spot.
Percy, in the months before she died, constantly licked the carpet in the living room. It was weird.
I just spent about an hour watering plants outside while my ward, Charlie the goofball, took bites from the stream of water out of the hose. I could have watered a lot faster if he had not been interrupting the flow so often.

When I come back and stand at the car window and say "dogs go in the back" she'll slink into the back seat. Sometimes she's actually still in the back seat when I arrive, she knows there will be a cookie for staying .... but that front seat is warm
If I drop something and she does not instantly run sliding into the kitchen say is "find it!" and the hunt is on. Also if I drop food that she's not particularly interested in if I say "find it" well, now it's a treat and she will.

Toby, the rough collie, LOVES to have his belly rubbed. We even have a command for him to lift up his back leg so we can rub his belly. He can be sound asleep, but if you walk by and say, "Happy Leg", his back leg will come up in the air so you can rub his belly.
Mine are so odd its not even funny. Lucy (the white and tan one) "talks"...a lot! Shes full of personality, too much at times, and we are generally rolling almost everyday about something she is doing. Shes a total goofball. Maggie digs, chews bark off of trees, can jump 8' privacy fences, barks at everything. She also has a special talent we have dubbed "doing the bicycle". Everyday she gets on her back and rubs her back on the floor while thrusting her back feet in the air alternating from left to right, much like pedaling a bicycle. Its very funny. She also goes nuts and throws rawhide chewies in the air and spins and does a very funny "dance". They are too much.
Hope these pics work!
Ahh.. and Maggie makes "tornadoes" in the carpet. Its very wierd and very annoying. She will lick in a spot until the carpet turns white white white in that spot and the fibers are swirled in a tornado pattern. Up to 4 tornadoes have been spotted in a given area at one time. Odd.
