Ain't it the truth!!! I head out struggling against the wind, looking forward to a tailwind on my return, only to find the wind in my teeth on the way home! Is this some sort of Midwest phenomenon? I think the weather guy calls it "light and variable" winds!

why don't ya'll come on down here for a spin or two? Due to the mountains we have canyons....which means we can literally have winds from 3 directions at the same time. They don't even post high wind warnings here until the wind gusts are over 50 mph! I love winds - Really!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

HA! I guess our winds really are light compared to yours, CorsairMac!! I hope I can graduate to loving headwinds someday, too!
