    yesterday:

    2 eggs, 2 slices multi grain toast
    a slice of homemade banana bread
    a quesadilla with spinach, cheese, corn and chipotles, and some potato chips
    a pear
    Chinese takeout for dinner, tofu and mixed veggies with brown rice, and Singapore mei fun noodles with shrimp (both dishes shared)
    another slice of banana bread
    an orange or 2, I can't remember for sure

    The chips and Chinese food put me over the top for salt.

    B: plain non fat greek yogurt with blueberries, walnuts, and dried cranberries, orange, V-8, coffee
    S: cheese (Marquesa, I think)
    L: salad with lettuce, 2 slices chicken and one slice low salt ham, low fat cheddar, oil and vinegar. a Pink Lady apple and water
    S: Luna bar and trail mix with nuts and cranberries between 3 and 6 PM
    D:shredded white meat chicken breast with a spicy/sweet sauce (ketchup, cumin, allspice, etc) on one slice of good whole wheat bread, side of cole slaw, 2 squares dark chocolate, water

    Today, so far,
    B: egg white omelette with low fat cheddar and a teeny bit of red pepper jelly, grapefruit half, coffee, V-8
    L: can of tuna in olive oil, red peppers, orange and a piece of cheese, water

    Snacks for when I am at school.. package of trail mix as above, slice of whole wheat bread with low fat cheese
    Dinner will be homemade soup with escarole, white beans, turkey sausage in a chicken broth base. not sure what else, DH is in charge tonight.

    L: La Fondas, green pork enchilada, beef taco, rice beans, pepsi
    D: Leftover steelhead trout, two bites, and a salad with olive oil vinagar dressing, 1 beer

    Today:
    B: Two eggs, and hash with coffee, piece of wheat toast
    L: Hamburger and chocolate shake
    D: Grilled chicken thighs, roasted potatoes, mixed vege - zucchini, tomato corn and a beer

    Yep, eating out today for B and L - we went on a motorcycle ride!

    coffee with cream and sugar
    smoothie made with mango, banana, yogurt, orange juice
    brown and white rice with black beans, salsa, avocado, and a bit of cheese
    half a container of haagen dazs dulche de leche ice cream with melted Baker's semi sweet chocolate
    4 glasses of water

    Today:
    small glass of orange juice
    coffee with cream and sugar
    cheerios with banana and 2% milk
    chocolate banana smoothie after 2-hour bike ride
    big salad with lettuce and salmon. Wish I had another avocado!
    the other half of that ice cream. It's all gone now, man it was good.

    L: Big salad with lots of greens and topped with some fresh fruit
    S: cut veggies, greek yogurt + Granola
    D: Ultrameal Shake made with Almond Milk, Banana and PB
    S: Hmmm, Teavana tea and Dark Chocolate

    I'm sure I'll eat a few other things here and there, like maybe some popcorn popped on the stovetop or string cheese.

    I have to get back to this thread. Although I didn't eat horribly during my long weekend in AZ, the last day did me in. I feel lumpy and my clothes are tight. It's mostly a question of exercise with me, but although I had planned for an outdoor ride this weekend, I am not sure it will happen now. Nordic skiing is over unless I travel up north... hiking doesn't seem to maintain my weight and I can barely tolerate the trainer, although I do sweat!
    Today so far
    B: egg white omelete with low fat cheddar, 2 slices turkey bacon, tea, V-8
    S: string cheese
    L: an orange, a can of tuna in olive oil with roasted red peppers
    dinner tonight is going to be chicken with cumin/spices in a homemade salsa with black beans

    I've not been very good lately...I think it is the weather that has had me a little down - and that increases temptation to eat what I shouldn't.

    Today:

    B: roasted chicken breast + 2 pieces sprouted rye toast and 1 cup of skim milk (over-slept and had to grab something ready to eat)

    S: no-fat chocolate yogurt

    L: roasted chicken breast, steamed mixed veggies, small spinach tortilla.

    S:? Don't yet know

    I am planning a 70-90 minute bike ride if I can fit it in & I've something at church tonight.

    D: depends on the time I have - either an egg-white omelet and light salad, or more chicken breast and veggies.

    I tend to roast 5-6 skinless chicken breasts in advance so it is quick, then I just need to worry about veggies. I typically get more creative on the weekend.
