I love Beau Soleil!!!! Right now for me it's the Wailin' Jennies and The Rogues (bagpipes). I know the pipes aren't for everyone but if you need something to keep you going on a long ride they're the best. After all they've been leading men on marches for hundreds of years!!!

I think Beethoven goes great with driving too!

I also like driving to Queen.

HA! This post could have been mine. Only insert *years* since I bought a CD for myself. How sad is that? Music used to be such a huge outlet for me years ago. Well, then I got a job teaching Spinning at my gym. WHOA... talk about taking a 360!

Green Day, 21st Century BreakDown "Last Of The American Girls" '...She is riding her bike like a fugitive of critical mass...'.

Of course I *had* to play this in my spin class the day the album got released.

It's difficult to make it through creating a class playlist without one Green Day song.

I came about even owning a dj software to edit songs with the idea that I would remove the "f word" from "Nice Guys Finish Last"... *just* so I could play in my class.

Hmm, think we'll do that next one coming up as a race pace interval:

"...let's pick it up! you can still be nice, but you don't have to finish last...". ALWAYS with the cue that the race is not against anyone in the room... it's between THEM and their own PERSONAL BEST... make your ride what you want it to be.

Having music again in my life regularly has been a blast of fun since starting to teach. Only I need to get paid in iTunes gift cards.

EDIT ADD: btw, Thx Clock, for posting this... I love these kinda threads cuz I am always looking for new music ideas to keep my peeps pedaling happy.
