Oh, sunny and cold for me, hands down!

I disntegrate in the heat, and I hate damp weather. I keep thinking all this damp winter weather we're having is just a minor glitch in the system, and we'll be back to dry and cold any day now. I'm afraid I'm wrong...

I don't like being outside in extreme heat (90-100 F, which it often gets to here), but 80s don't bother me much. So I don't like hot, and I definitely don't like it below 30 F, so that leaves me Misty and Mild, which are the exact conditions of the 8 lighthouse ride in Maine last year. I thought it would be miserable but it was actually quite nice, especially with the women I met who let me ride with them.

Another "delicate blossom" here, ha ha ha, I'm trying to to laugh at the thought of describing myself like that. Anyway, cold and sunny, no question about it.

I really don't like any of those choices, but I chose mild and misty. 55 degrees is probably my favorite temperature; I like the 55-70 range. However, I don't like riding in rain or mistiness and I would not deliberately start a ride if it was raining. I ride in temperatures down to about 37, but it has to be sunny if it's that cold. I don't like extreme heat, either. It feels too hot to me when it gets above 82 or so. Now I have ridden up to about 98, but it really bothers me.

I could handle misty and mild, but I can handle hot, Hot and Hotter (I think I've ridden in temps as high as 100)

Sure there's limit where it's just too hot to be safe.

I really just don't enjoy riding in temps below 30 to 35 degrees.

    bring on the heat

Heat for me! I hate cold weather. We get it all in Missouri but I always prefer summer over winter.

I'm happy as long as I don't have to fight against the wind.

That said I currently don't do long rides if it's below -20 C. I'm planning to get some good winter tights and a balaclava at the end of season sales so that next year I can keep commuting year round. I don't mind the summer heat since I always have a bit of a breeze to cool me off.

Same here, we get it all in Illinois. As a matter of fact, we had today off from school because of snow, sleet, slush, etc. The forcast for Sat/Sun overnight is -6 - I don't do well at - anything. I can't wait til I retire and can spend winters in a nice warm/hot climate.

I'm a southern girl--I like heat and am fairly ok with humidity.

Below 50 or sometimes warmer if windy and I just can't do it.

Breathing hard in cold weather is one of my asthma triggers.

Born and raised in Central Texas. I don't plan on ever leaving so you can imagine what I think of cold. If it isn't at least 45 I won't go ride. If it below 55 I am generally not happy unless there is no wind. I am a cold weather weenie. I wear knickers and long sleeve jerseys until it hits 70.

In the summer you will find me out and about in 90+ degree weather. Sleeveless jersey, SPF 50, a route to stop every 30 miles and I am ready for 60 miles or more!

I can handle cool and misty - otherwise I'd rarely ride here on the Wet Coast - but I'd much much much rather sunny and cold. Or sunny and hot. Any sort of sunny is great...
