Any less expensive CF's you girls could tell me about? How about scandium? Anyone riding a scandium frame?
Now don't get me wrong, I love my Aegis, but I love steel. I was going to get another steel, but things worked out differently. Ride a lot of different things. It's kind of like looking for a house, unless you see what you don't like, you won't know what you do like and why.
It's a good day to be a dog.

Just remember that scandium is a fancy word for aluminum. Very very thin lightweight aluminum. Bikes using this alloy utilize huge tubes to provide stiffness. It's a wickedly light, but fairly harsh ride. Great for crit-bikes, but also prone to denting fairly easily. If you race and your sponsor kicks in a new frame every year try one.
