Whoo hoo! Those are some seriously snazzy arm warmers!
Trek--how's Mae doing today, post paw trauma? And how's your sister the Duck? She's not been heard from for lo these many days!

Can someone tell me the purpose of wearing a sleeveless jersey and arm warmers? Would a regular jersey not be simpler?

Trek - those are some peachy armwarmers... think how nice they'd go with a cool pair of capris.
BTW - my zoics have shrunk so much that I can't wear them anymore. Gonna give 'em to the DPITA. How are yours doing?
KG- I just about always wear long sleeves, and don't own any armwarmers, but I gather the idea is that you can take the armwarmers on and off and it's like changing longsleeve shirt for short sleeve shirt without having to actually take off the shirt. Like zip off legs on pants to switch shorts/pants.

I'm trying to convince Erik to get a seat bag so he can carry the tools and spare tube and I can carry my extra clothing...
Trek - Those are wild! Hmmm....
Regarding the car incident: I don't know what possesses people to act this way. A guy in a car had to wait for me to cross an intersection before he could turn right, then he floored it and made loud screeching noises. I just don't get it. Maybe you have to be an impatient man, with the whole low-confidence / high-testosterone thing.
I need happy stories... I accidentally read the news today. Big mistake. I'll come up with more dog stories...
Yes, reading the news these days is really horrible. I can't help doing it anyway. But add this to the mix:

Make sure you scroll down the page to see the live cam. Looking at Tai being silly keeps me sane (relatively speaking, anyway).
Why do cars _always_ do that- gun the engine after they pass you??? Oooh, you're a big fast car and I'm a measly little cyclist- I am _so_ impressed...
The new "bike" is awesome!!! Got a ten minute ride last night before we had to go to a birthday party, to which we could not take HD because it might rain.
What's the point of a restaurant having a 200% markup on wine? Like, I _know_ it's $9 at publix, and it's $28 at the restaurant??? I can go along with 100%, I guess, because that's standard practice, but 200% is too much. So we end up getting only one of the cheapest bottles, when we might have had a second bottle. (In Florida, you can re-cork and take home leftovers)
