that is so cool, as someone who has had her own scare with lumps that thankfully so far have been determined benign (knock wood), breast cancer awareness is very dear to my heart.

very, very cool article and write up about some kind and empathic officers! Nice to see the police getting positive news time for some good they're doing...
my best friend did the 3 day last year... pretty amazing... I was humbled...There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

Great article and I agree. Police as a whole tend to be a pretty giving bunch when it comes to raising $$ and helping people out. Of course, I might be just a tad biased

Ooops, didn't mean to impy that policemen and women aren't human, just that they always get the bad rap- but not because they are the bad guys, but they have to keep us protected and safe (even when it means busting my butt and giving me a ticket
). It's like your parents, they have to keep you in line to keep you safe and out of danger.

I live in a small town, and our police force is very awesome. Always helping out and doing things for the community!
