that is so cool, as someone who has had her own scare with lumps that thankfully so far have been determined benign (knock wood), breast cancer awareness is very dear to my heart.

Don't think of it as getting hot flashes. Think of it as your inner child playing with matches
That brings tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story!

“Hey, clearly failure doesn’t deter me!”
Thank you so much for sharing that! It made me cry a little, and made me smile at the police doing such a great thing. It's nice to think of them as human sometimes...![]()

very, very cool article and write up about some kind and empathic officers! Nice to see the police getting positive news time for some good they're doing...
my best friend did the 3 day last year... pretty amazing... I was humbled...
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
Great article and I agree. Police as a whole tend to be a pretty giving bunch when it comes to raising $$ and helping people out. Of course, I might be just a tad biasedOriginally Posted by Tri Girl

Ooops, didn't mean to impy that policemen and women aren't human, just that they always get the bad rap- but not because they are the bad guys, but they have to keep us protected and safe (even when it means busting my butt and giving me a ticket). It's like your parents, they have to keep you in line to keep you safe and out of danger.

I LOVE the picture!!!! What a cute family you have!!!
I live in a small town, and our police force is very awesome. Always helping out and doing things for the community!
Thanks policemen and women everywhere!

I know that you didn't, but you're right...it's usually the bad things that are brought to light and police just aren't loved by the public like...let's say...firemen!Originally Posted by Tri Girl
