    That is just awesome. I loved it when the MLB stars used pink bats during their support The Susan B. Komen week-end. The players ( well at least those with some caring and compasion, which was most from what I watched ) also wore wristbands and pink ribbons on their uniforms. As someone who has lost 2 dear friends to breast cancer, it really touches my heart to see that type of support.

    that is so cool, as someone who has had her own scare with lumps that thankfully so far have been determined benign (knock wood), breast cancer awareness is very dear to my heart.

    very, very cool article and write up about some kind and empathic officers! Nice to see the police getting positive news time for some good they're doing...

    my best friend did the 3 day last year... pretty amazing... I was humbled...

    Great article and I agree. Police as a whole tend to be a pretty giving bunch when it comes to raising $$ and helping people out. Of course, I might be just a tad biased
