This particular fry is Elizabeth (she's more of a fingerling/minnow now) - a quote from her from last spring. We were talking about some of the funny things she says on our roadtrip this weekend and that one came up. I thought - that has to be my new signature!
Okay - here's the wine report. As we know - I'm no wine expert. I wrote everything down. This, for sure, was cheap wine. But it was actually pretty good. Very sweet. It was called Sweet Walter. The label said that it was an after dinner red table wine. It's from Bully Hill Vineyards in Hammonsport, NY. The label said it was "grapey". It tasted kind of strawberryish to me. Very very sweet. After about 10 minutes I had a nice headache. Could've been from tired eyes, though. Dry eyes today with contacts - not the best combo.
The tasting was good. I'd had most of the items before and enjoyed them all. I even won the door prize - a mix for beer bread. It's soooooo good in the restaurant!
