    A slight variation

I omit the triple sec, and use Absolut Citron vodka instead. Yum. Or optionally, substitute the berry flavored Absolut vodka instead for a raspberry-lemon drop. Yeah, I've had a few in my time...

My favorite martini recipe is "The Ultimate Javatini"

    1 1/2 oz Vodka
    1 oz Kahlua
    1 oz Espresso

Shake with Ice in cocktail shaker.

Rim martini glass with vanilla, then roll in a sugar/cocoa powder mixture.

    Serve straight up.

These were a huge hit at our TE Christmas party last year.

    My favorite:

    1 oz lemon flavored vodka
    1 oz Limoncello liqueur
    1 oz sweet and sour
Lemon juice and superfine sugar to taste

Mix the vodka, Limocello, sugar, sweet & sour and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice; shake well. Pour strained liquor into sugar-rimmed martini glass and garnish with a twisted peel of lemon.

    Yum yum yum!

Or, use Hanger One, either Citron (Buddha's Hand) or Kaffir Lime. The Kaffir Lime makes a lovely tart 'drop.

If anyone lives near a Cheesecake Factory, they make an awsome Chocolate Martini.....

This is all making me very thirsty! In 45 minutes I'm going to see a friend who makes great gin martinis (with Hendrick's! Yum!)

Susan, Rock Bottom in downtown Portland has this wonderful house drink with a fairly explicit name. It's made with lemonade, raspberry vodka, and chambord, and it's extremely tasty. Careful, though, as it is also highly efficient...

I make an easier version with just the raspberry vodka and lemonade. Such a good combination of flavors! I will have to try your recipe.
