Since I love your Munch avatar so much, how about "munchy-do"? Sounds like monkey, looks like you like to snack. I know, there's nothing red-ducky about it.

Heck, I could ride the Burke Gilman trail to Archie McPhee's to buy them, then ride to the post office and send 'em. A bike experience!
Thank you for the thought, but I have enough rubber duckies as it is. I had one in my bathroom so my mother-in-law thought it was a theme and ran with it. Now I have several soaps with a duckies in them, towels with duckies on them, a picture of a duckie, 2 rubber duckies, a majolica ceramic duck. In fact I live in Seattle too and one of my rubber duckies is a Devil Duckie (he's a yellow one though) - which is what made me think of them.

Snap, you are welcome to it! I stole it from a cartoon in the New Yorker.

    Says it all, doesn't it?

I'd really like to make a bumpersticker (or 20 or 50 or 500) but couldn't figure out how to program the template on my Mac for the sticker-paper.

hmmm ... ready for the finalists?

There seem to be no more contest entries today, so maybe we should go ahead with the final round ...? I have selected a list of 10 finalists, unless somebody has a last minute entry. We could have one election day, but I warn you ... I get to stuff the ballot box at the end of the day.

    how about cheesenquackers? I dunno

"Duckdr (I'm partial to this )"

    or Doctorduck

I'm trying to work in Bikeless desire to ride to the nearby town of H*** and back:

    Hellenback

is Norwegianwood_duck too long and obscure to those under 50?

BTW as family I will give up my sports beans should any of my ideas be chosen.

    And the finalists are ...

OK, here in no particular order are my picks as finalists. As you can see, duck and red are the main themes, but the bike name has been an inspiration for some, and my living near H..., Norway is reflected in a few. I've left out some that others had as favorites. RubySlipperz is the bike's name. It's a better bike than I am a biker, so I feel its name shouldn't be mine. And I've been DocDuck on other fora after getting the degree -- a good nickname, but I've been there, been called that.

Some of these may need tweeking, but if it's your favorite and you see a way to tweek it to the better, feel free to offer your version. Comments or reasoning for choices also welcome.

    __ Dorothy (danyla)
    __ Uff duck (mtkitchn)
    __ Devil Ducky (Eden)
    __ Red Hot Duck (Jones)
__ Road Island Red, or Rode Island Red, or Red Island Ride …? (CorsairMac)
__ DuckálaRouge (me, inspired by fishdr’s Duck in Red)
    __ Quackered (fishdr)
__ Ferruginous (zoological name of endangered red duck species, Betagirl)
    __ Hellenback (Trek420)
__ DuckOutaH… or, Duck on Wheels (me, inspired by Trek420’s Hellenback)

I haven't found a button anywhere that lets me set this up for automatic tallying, so we're getting hand-counted ballots here. I'll tally them up and then stuff my ballots in for the final count Saturday afternoon.

Bikeless, to post a real poll you need to start a new thread. Waaaay down at the bottom is the option to "post a poll." However, you have a maxium of 10 options, but you can allow people to vote for as many names as they wish.

To go this route, you'd have to eliminate 1 from your list.

Creativity will be rewarded. I'm ineligible to win anyway.
