Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
Wind is a BUGGER!!!! But what doesn't kill ya really does make you stronger in this case.
My other big technique epiphany was "round and round, not up and down." THink about getting the *most* out of every part of that stroke. (Maybe you already do it... for me it was a revelation and **really** helped on hills and in wind.)
