    My pedaling could be LESS efficient? Already have hip/knee problems maybe would throw me back into alignment ;-)

    Seriously, good tips y'all. I'm keeping the seat where it is. I plan to be there rain or shine, if it's poaring will just meet y'all.

    not to get your hopes up or anything ...

    ... but the weather report now predicts sunny weather for Saturday in the vicinity of San Jose and Oakland

    To all of you riding this weekend I will be saying prayers that it is a good day all around. weather nice but not to hot. Good riding to all and most of all have a great time. Wish I could be there.
