Yup, I RODE MY BIKE TODAY!!!!!!!!

Not very far because I am still having some balance issues and I had to take the cleats and cages off and ride a flat pedal...BUT I DID IT!!! I'm not ready for the Tour, but know that I am out there!!!!

Special thanks to my DH who has helped me through seizures, breaking a rib,
(from a seizure), and then unexpectectly losing my Dad. Today was such a beautiful day my hubby said to me, "I can't watch you continue to feel bad, you need to get outside and ride." SOOOOOO, I did!!! I know I didn't go very far but everyday I will go farther and farther until I can ride again. In a week or so I'll set a mileage goal for this year....

    yahooooooooo,
    karen

Ah, man, MBB. Now I am crying. I've been thinking about you so much lately and wondering what was up and now I know. Karen-side up and rubberside down. Just as it should be.

    Karen -
That's totally awesome! I'm looking forward to hearing your joyous tales of riding. But don't forget - go easy on yourself...

CONGRATULATIONS! Now I wish we had some'a those animated smileys here, like the one that hands out a rose. But you had the vision to get back on your bike, so I'm sure you have the imagination to:
[Imagine smiley handing you a rose here.]

    Fabulous Karen
It takes a lot of courage
Thanks for sharing your strength with us...
    Inspiring
    *hugs*

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
