Super funny! And really not limited to tours. Any long ride with a partner can bring these on, at least in my experience of 30 years of riding with my darling husband!

Not just self supported tours, supported ones, too.
And as Emily said, just riding with the same people can support this disease.

Ha, yeah. I think most of mine have occurred without witnesses, but I could be remembering that wrong. It doesn't help that the condition is usually self-inflicted.

    - Gray 2010 carbon WSD road bike, Rivet Independence saddle
    - Red hardtail 26" aluminum mountain bike, Bontrager Evoke WSD saddle
    - Royal blue 2018 aluminum gravel bike, Rivet Pearl saddle

    Gone but not forgotten:
    - Silver 2003 aluminum road bike
    - Two awesome worn out Juliana saddles

I have a clear memory of me giving my bike a good kick after tipping over on an ungodly hill on a horrid gravel road in Big Bend National Park and then we both just burst out laughing and stopped for a snack
