The thing about cellphones is you don't know who will benefit from your having one, and you really hope it will be someone else. It's a good insurance policy.
very true. i called the police from the highway once, because a van in front of us was veering all over the lanes. some friends were in the car ahead of us, and my god, i thought they were gonna die. i really hope that guy got nailed for whatever substance he was on. on highways it's too easy for one mistake to cause a ten pile-up. cell phones may be a curse sometimes, but when you need them, you really need them.
