Not a triathlete but it sounds similar to a couple of pains I have. I have endometriosis and also levator muscular spasms. One usually eggs the other on. I recently felt this pain during a long ride where I was fighting the wind and pushing quite a bit and it's not the first time I've had it. I've resorted to vaginal valium since and feel better. It usually takes me a couple of days to get over it. I also have an IUD which helps.

The main thing, though, as suggested by snapdragen is to go and get checked out. Endometriosis is not easily dx'ed (requires surgery) but most docs will try standard treatment if you show signs. And, while it sucks, having levator spasms I know it can be easily dx'ed by a doctor who knows what they are doing and can be treated with pelvic floor therapy. It only requires a simple pelvic with some pressure.

I hope you are feeling better soon!
