    I will suggest felt coasters. Far more effective than any other type -- they catch any dripping (like condensation form an icy drink), and probably not as exciting to feline claws or taste buds.

    Isis couldn't care less about cork. She would absolutely destroy felt ones, though.

    I'm very glad you're a bit more happy in the new house, and I'm thrilled that you know your way outside now. But no, you still don't have a cat door, and you're not getting it back quite yet. So unless you want to be locked in the kitchen again all night (and no, you can not break your way out through a regular size door with 2 kitty paws, claws or not), you'd better shut up. We're not getting up at 5 in the morning to let you out to romp in the snow.

    PS. Even though it's cute, hiding under the bed when we go to bed doesn't help either. You're terrible at hiding and we can hear you.
