this is the first spring in our new house and everyday we go outside and peruse the yard finding new green things popping up everywhere!!! my dh planted grass seeds a few weeks back and the little suckers are springin' up blades of tiny little baby grass

we are also finding out what kind of critters roam about in our 'hood...we are in a woodsy neighborhood near a big forest type plot of land...this is gonna be a FUN spring of new adventures...especially for hubby since he has basically lived in the city all his life!!! it is so fun watching him discover new things - kinda gives me an idea of what he was like as a kid exploring the world around him!
