    Funny e mails

I'm not sure if it's from his phone or his tablet - but I get funny emails from Thom sometimes.

Today's - "Tuning a bit a late. About 25 minutes." Tuning, the piano gets tuned in October, that's a bit more than 25 minutes. None of the cars are in the shop...

I guess because R and T are next to each other, running becomes tuning.

There's a whole website "damn you autocorrect." Some of them are pretty hilarious. I don't have a link off the top of my head though.

"Cup" for "bus" always cracks me up as in:

    "I'm late; missed the cup."
    or

"Crazy homeless guy on the cup."
    or

"On the cup now." (which makes me think diva cup)
Each day is a gift, that's why it is called the present.

    +1.

I'm always texting weird things to people because my iPhone apparently didn't go to medical school and doesn't recognize medical-ese.

My personal favorite. This is from some phone texts among a bunch of local randos doing support for a long brevet in the Pacific NW. I'm married to Rando Two, so I can vouch for the truth of this autocorrect event.

    Rando One--
Now having Carnegie Masada tacos and beer.

    Rando One’s correction--
Okay so that was carne asada tacos mysteriously transformed into Carnegie Masada tacos by my helpful Droid!

    Rando Two—
Carnegie Masada tacos must be the kosher version.

    Rando Three--
I hear it takes a lot of practice to get to Carnegie Masada!

reminds me of conversations on a women only ride for riders older than 50 I was on recently. group of two other ladies and myself riding in a line with clearance room in between.

    Linda: Where's Dianne?

Me (in the middle) she's back folding her map.

Dianne She's taking a nap, what do you mean, taking a nap?

    and so on...

    Easy - http://www.damnyouautocorrect.com

My favorite is "your mom and I are going to divorce" instead of "your mom and I are going to Disney." http://cdn.damnyouautocorrect.com/images/divorced.jpg

Other good ones: Mom finds out daughter is pregnant: http://cdn.damnyouautocorrect.com/im...t-daughter.jpg

Too many of them are just about sex autocorrects, though. Sometimes you have to wade through a lot of crap to find the more interesting (and less literal) stuff. I like "cup" and "bus" much better.
