OMG! You are Limewave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had no idea it was you!!!!!!!!
After you shoved ice down your bra, I did too. We talked several times during the day. My first lap was 3:08 and you went out a little bit ahead of me on our 2nd lap.
On Lap 3, I told you you couldn't stop when I saw you sitting on the side of the trail. You said you were just resting and I was a little worried you weren't going to finish. As I was leaving the Aid Station on that last lap you came rolling in. Yey! I was so happy. You were going to make it!
Lumberjack was hard. No doubt about it. This was my 4th NUE of the year and even though it's not technical in the least, it is never ending due to the constant flats and uphills that don't offer much recovery.
Great job! Remember, it will be just as hard next year because it never gets easier, you just go faster!
We even talked at the end of the race after you crossed the finish line. I can't believe we were so close to meeting but didn't actually introduce ourselves.
Looks like you're doing BC over the 4th? I'm two hours from there. Maybe me and the bf can sneak away and ride with you guys!
