Thanks for the feedback, I am never sure about eating more than a snack close to bed - but I knew my body needed something substantial.
Interestingly enough I woke up after midnight, well I always do that, but when I got out of bed and walked across my apartment my quads were just on fireThey are fine today, and I DID stretch and foam roll when I got home - perhaps bed came too quickly after my efforts?
Regardless, it was probably too much to do all that work at the gym and then ride in the wind for an hour to get home. I won't do that again without cutting out either the weights or the Bosu class. Both today and tomorrow are rest days as I've a 3 day weekend of mountain biking coming so I want to go into it fully rested and with fresh legs (and neck). I don't like taking 2 rest days in a row, but it seems wise.
