Looking for a bike to put baskets on

How far are you talking about riding it? Do you need something light enough to get up hills? What's your budget? My Trek Navigator has been bulletproof, and it's all I need for flatland grocery runs and errands under 10-12 miles RT. But I wouldn't want it as a hill country or longer distance commuter.

That is exactly what I want. I'll check it out. But not at the Trek store.
