So what do you think of parents who text their children during school? And the child reads it and responds, also during school?

Not ok. Especially your grade. Phone should be OFF during school and parents should know better.

Em will now occasionally text me during school hours, usually at lunch, to tell me of plans for after school, etc. But she's old enough to have the judgment to not let it interrupt her while she's in class. Elementary school kids, not so much.
