Similar to my Classic, only in the Champagne color. Looks like it's a smaller size, with the little front wheel. New they sold for $1200 (in 1999). If you're looking to sell it you might go to the Terry site.

You could try to sell it here, on the for sale section of the forum. Your local Craigslist might be a good bet. Or eBay. If you try to sell it online you are going to have to give more information so people can judge whether the bike will fit them. You should at least measure the distance from the ground to the top of the top tube so people can know if they can stand over the top tube.

Your best bet may be local as the bike would be a pain to ship and may not be worth the money to justify shipping.

This line of questioning sort of makes me wonder how he came to possess the bike in the first place. Is it stolen?

    Agreed. Seems a little fishy.

I have to admit that was my very first thought, too.

Welcome to TE and may I presume cycling, Ben. There is a way bikes and bike bits will be presented for sale used. Expect to get lots and lots and lots of random questions for no apparent reason from any rider perusing your bike and or bike stuff.

It's not a multiple choice quiz.

Expect your answers to be grilled expertly whether online or in person.

Some of those are about the bike and it's components.

Most of those are really about YOU.

There are many valid reasons that a great bike would be for sale used and the seller not know what it is even though the name, make and model are on the frame. . I understand that and would accept it in some cases.

Many if not all riders have had bikes stolen and while I and all of us here welcome you to the board (it's the best place in cyber space for cyclists! ) just speaking for myself I for one absolutely, positively, emphatically, hate with a burning passion, detest, abhor bike thieves although I am sure that you are not one.

    Welcome to TE!
