I'm doing a tour in the Texas Hill Country with Adventure Cycling in early April. It will be the first time in decades that I spend 6 straight nights camping, but I'll try to HTFU.

I looked at that trip. We were in that part of Texas the first of May for niece's wedding a couple of years ago and it looked lovely. Have fun!

We're doing a White Rim tour that week.

We've been kicking around some other ideas, but haven't really settled on anything.

One summer, we cycled out from Quebec City and used the Velo Quebec bike routes to make up our own local /goat cheese tour. Yummy...which of course, meant sampling some. We couldn't carry some cheeses for so long without refrigeration.

But Quebec actually does promote its local cheese farms in southern Quebec. The cheeses are like the stronger European cheeses.

    White Rum tour sounds cool.

I will be riding 6 days in the Rimini area in June, doing this:

Someone posted a Living Social offer in the forum last October and bought... It is a bit intimidating, but should be fun.

I did a WomanTours Texas Hill Country trip last April and was surprised by how much I enjoyed the area. Beautiful landscapes (if you go for stark countrysides]. It was my first experience w cattle guards--of which there are many! I look forward to cycling in that area again some time.

In mid-March I'm doing a WomanTours trip in the Tucson area.
