This is not good news. I'm following the nutritionist's advice, which is not to count calories, but exchanges, but this is for the birds. Despite the travel, the scale should have gone down by now and the fact that it hasn't, means I'm eating too much.
I've been tracking calories along with the exchanges too, and I'm eating above what I should be, in my opinion. The dietician is right that I don't eat like a werewolf on days I do long rides anymore by eating more calories on the other days, but I'm also gaining weight at this rate.
I'm not sure how long I should keep this experiment going. I'll give it another week and then I'm off this plan. I can't continue to gain weight.
I'm not familiar with how the exchange thing works, but can you reduce things a bit each day, so you're still eating more on non-ride days, just not as much as the past couple of weeks?
