unusual 2 ride day!

B: steel cut oats with 1 T. toasted pecans, 1 T. dried cranberries
S: (on 42 mile ride) 1/2 Clif bar, 1 GU
L: leftover snapper with tomato, onion & chile, tomato basil pasta, chile/lime tortilla chips, 5 "Savannah Smiles" lemon Girl Scout cookies
S: (on 25 mile ride) 1 GU,
D: chicken sausage (spinach-feta), sauteed mushrooms, spinach,onion, tomato, red & green peppers), 1 cup pasta, parmesan cheese

then I baked choc chip cookies for DH to celebrate finishing his 300k and enjoyed 4 of them. I was still hungry....

*I once declared, right here on TE, that I would never use GU... but have had a change of heart since the El Tour de Tucson training with Carmichael Training Systems coaches. (The first one's free.....) I don't use them on every ride, but they are convenient...
