Here's my little list including trips because it all has to be timed to get me in shape for Wine Country Double Metric. I think I can do it because 7 days of mtbiking should get my legs strong then I'll go sit on my posterior for 100 flat miles at Bike Around the Buttes. Legs and butt - that's what I call cross training.
*4/1 Party Pardee - 65 miles, 4,500' climb
*Mid-April - 7 days of mtbiking in UT
4/22 Bike Around The Buttes - 100, 350' climb
*5/6 Wine Country - 125, 7,000+' climb
*Memorial Day Wkend - 5 days of mtbiking Oregon
*6/3 Little Red Riding Hood -100, almost flat
*8/19 Holstein Hundred - 100 or 65, 5,500' climb
8/20 Tour of Napa Valley - 65, 3,000' climb
9/9? Sisikiyou Century - 100, 4,600' climb
Kim, I'm pondering Napa. If I commit I'll only do a metric for both the Holstein and Napa. I really want to do the Siskiyou again. I really liked it, but then I like being in the middle of nowhere.
* For me = committed or already registered.
WrenchBoy has to decide what he wants to do. He left his double days behind years ago so training and riding beyond 65 miles means its without my best buddy and I'm definitely a social rider for anything centuries. That's why I added BOB.
