    Talking Holiday Socks!!

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Today one of the regulars to my strength and conditioning class brought me a holiday gift. I'm not one to wait so I opened it. I was excited to find the best gift socks ever!!

Why these are the best socks ever:
    A) They are knee highs
    B) They have lightening bolts on them
    C) They also have dinosaurs on them and I LOVE dinosaurs!!!!!!
    D) The dinosaurs are "RAR"ing!!!!!!!!

Just a random moment of joy I wanted to share.

    Happy Holidays.

    Those sound adorable!

I bought a pair of knee high red socks with white snowflakes on them and a fuzzy white band at the top to wear for a Dec race that I ended up not running. Now I'm going to wear them to work this week because they are just so damn cute! I just have to come up with a good outfit to show them off...

ah! I have such a thing for socks. They make me happy (though I'm more the so-plushy-soft-that-you-need-bigger-shoes sort). This post makes me smile.

Love, love funky socks especially long ones for riding. I also have been known to cut off the feet and make funky matchy arm warmers with them.

Another fellow funky sock lover! I think I've started to collect them and also like to get socks from different places either myself or friends and family travel to! Now I just have to learn to knit something other than a scarf so I can make some nice cosy ones myself!

I won a gift card at my last race, I used it to buy some wool socks with Pandas and a wool pair that are grey with lime green butterflies (which matches my mountain bike). LOVE THEM! I haven't gotten bold enough to join the girls wearing knee highs. Maybe it is because DH doesn't like it and he rarely expresses something he doesn't really like in fashion....

DD loves funky socks. This year she also wanted toe socks for xmas. I just tried to get one on my foot. Not happening lol... she exclaimed: "omg MOM, you are stretching out my socks, they are not meant for your feet!". Um yes, I'm more of a sock hater. But if I were to wear them, they would be funky. Sounds like it was a lovely gift. What a nice surprise.
