    Dear Santa,

I would like a mixte with a flip/flop hub. Oh and some new shorts and shoes. And a saddle that's comfortable..........please.

I'd like to change my requests, Santa. I'd like a clothes dryer. It isn't really effective to dry the clothes on the line when it's 15 degrees outside.

Dear Santa, I would like to keep my job. It is a good one but with the way the census is going in my building it is not looking too good.

Dear Santa, as you know I already used my Clarks 20%-off coupon to buy the new boots that I needed to replace the pair that's worn out and the pair that never fit right in the first place. So that's covered. And I got the Smartwool neck gaitor and liner gloves during that great sale at REI, and I found the red wool sweater I've been looking for since last winter, on sale AND with free shipping from J Jill. So I'm pretty much covered in terms of clothes, which as you know is usually high on my list.

So really I would like new doorknobs for all the doors in my condo, in a brushed nickel finish. And a matching 2-way keyed deadbolt for the balcony door. And new hinges for all the doors, to replace the ones that were painted over with so many layers of paint. Oh, and new light fixtures for the dining area and bathroom.

While you're here, it would be so awesome if you could bring a few elves to organize my cluttered living room.

BTW go easy on all those cookies, I'm baking you a rum cake...

    Dear Santa,

What I'd love more than anything else is modern insulation and new windows for the house. Can you take care of all that without waking me up?

    Dear Santa,
Could you please convince someone to buy my house in Louisiana, so that in turn, I can buy someone's house here in Washington?

    Thank you.

    Dear Santa:
Could I have a shiny new bicycle? Please? I've been good all year.
Barring that, some wool glove liners and a high-viz jacket?
At least I don't leave slime trails.

    Dear Santa,

The nice people at Bike Friday are busy, but maybe if you spoke to them they'd hurry up and get those bikes done so that we could get in on the free Christmas Eve delivery.

The chimney here is dubious, so better go with the porch. I'll watch for you and keep the lights on.

    Dear Santa,
I really don't know what I want, that is what I tell my family. I am fortunate enough to have a good job, can pay all my bills AND afford fun trips (ok so maybe I am not saving enough), usually buy what I want/need and I seem to have good health. I am not in need of anything materialist except the winning lotto ticket so I can quit work and play all the time!

I wish I had more will power (do you deliver that?) to eat better more often, lose these last darn pounds and lastly maybe a 2 hour or sub 2 hour 1/2 marathon??

Like everyone else I'll bribe you with a few cookies...I'll make sure they are healthy ones!

    Thanks, Santa!

    Dear Santa,

I need new shoes. One pair of new shoes. So regarding that huge order from Zappos, please make one pair perfectly comfortable (and beautiful) and the rest be obviously, miserably, blatantly wrong (and ugly).

    Thank you.

    Dear Santa,

Could you bring me funds to start pre-requisites for nursing school? I will do the hard part like study my butt off. And to keep me sane I could use some new bibs to ride in, a My Fit Foods challenge to drop a few pesky pounds and start me dropping processed foods and one of those nifty portable pressure washers to keep my mountain bike clean.

I will leave you one of my Christmas Cookie plates.
