    Dear Santa,
Could you please convince someone to buy my house in Louisiana, so that in turn, I can buy someone's house here in Washington?

    Thank you.

    Dear Santa:
Could I have a shiny new bicycle? Please? I've been good all year.
Barring that, some wool glove liners and a high-viz jacket?
At least I don't leave slime trails.

    Dear Santa,

The nice people at Bike Friday are busy, but maybe if you spoke to them they'd hurry up and get those bikes done so that we could get in on the free Christmas Eve delivery.

The chimney here is dubious, so better go with the porch. I'll watch for you and keep the lights on.

    Dear Santa,
I really don't know what I want, that is what I tell my family. I am fortunate enough to have a good job, can pay all my bills AND afford fun trips (ok so maybe I am not saving enough), usually buy what I want/need and I seem to have good health. I am not in need of anything materialist except the winning lotto ticket so I can quit work and play all the time!

I wish I had more will power (do you deliver that?) to eat better more often, lose these last darn pounds and lastly maybe a 2 hour or sub 2 hour 1/2 marathon??

Like everyone else I'll bribe you with a few cookies...I'll make sure they are healthy ones!

    Thanks, Santa!

    Dear Santa,

I need new shoes. One pair of new shoes. So regarding that huge order from Zappos, please make one pair perfectly comfortable (and beautiful) and the rest be obviously, miserably, blatantly wrong (and ugly).

    Thank you.

Sounds like you need to ask St. Joseph for help.

I'm not religious, but I did that, and the house sold within a week, after being on the market for several months. Everyone says it, but it really worked to me.

If you don't know, you get a little St. Joseph statue, and bury it near the for sale sign.

And oddly enough, I don't know why, you're supposed to bury the St. Joseph statue upside down.

First, you have to have faith that St. Joseph will assist. I'm not a church goer, but I am spiritual and believe in the Saints.

St. Joseph helped several family members and even some initially-doubting friends.

You don't have to bury the statue. I kept the statue---when I asked St. Joseph for assistance, I promised him that he would always have a home with us, no matter where we lived. He has a place of honor on my dresser.

I did it as a skeptic, and it still worked.

    Dear Santa,

I'd like a new saddle... one that will be kind to my tush on my looooong ride next year.
I'd also like some new bike shoes-- Sidi Dominator 5's please!
I need a few more pairs of bibs, a tent and a camping aerobed to sleep on inside the tent.

I also need the willpower to lose 15-20 lbs before April. Please help!

    love,

    Reesha

My real estate agent has informed me that St. Joeseph is buried in the yard of my house. She's even gone out "to freshen him." I think friends snuck on and buried another one. I haven't gone to a Catholic supply store to get my own St. Joesph. I'll go for all the help I can get.

I think Santa may bring me the dryer - we've been earning gift cards at work for reports turned in ahead of schedule, and one of our options is Home Depot. So hopefully (*fingers crossed*) will get a dryer and a pedestal sink for the bathroom.

    Good luck with the house!
