    Enough already! I can't believe the number of people, dear friends and relatives, that have been spending some quality time in hospitals. Yes, a big thank you is due for the health care professionals that have been doing their utmost best to get everyone well, or at least ease their suffering.
    Could we please have people home by Christmas, as healthy as they can be? Please?

    Dad's reaction to the Texas fires surrounding him is commendable (donate to charity instead of sending adults presents). Maybe in his later years he's finally learning compassion, just because he didn't show much after Katrina.
    Self, get over it, Dad is requesting that in lieu of presents, give to charity - so it isn't "all about him."

    yeah, my aunt is 90 today. and she's in a hospital!! what is UP with these crummy birthdays??

    Donald continues to progress. Tomorrow he's getting popsicles, saturday warm drinks... next week... OUT of the hospital. Actual day NOT determined yet.
