I'm going to have to remember to check if Kansas City has a TJ's. I stopped in one in Seattle last week to pick up Stroopwaffels (sp?) and they told me that the distributor had been out, none of the stores had them!

The good thing about the chocolate-covered ones is that there are only 10 or so in a box.....the non-chocolate-covered peppermint jo-jo's are also great but have been really scarce in our store this year which is probably good since they come in an oreo-sized box and are also easy to eat too many of...
I also made the mistake of buying the Macarons Au Chocolat. Can you marry a Macaron?

I will not be buying peppermint Joe Joes this year. I'm not allowing myself to (after I devoured an entire box in 2 days last year). There are some things I just cannot have in the house - those are one of those things.![]()

OHHHH NOOOOOO! I discovered the giant box of variety pack Joe Joe's today. 4 different kinds! Oh yea I bought a box. $6.50 so this is a treat for the holidays and no other day. Bet I have them gone in a week. Extra time on the bike is all I can say!

I wish I had a Trader Joes here. The closest one seems to be 2 hours away in Raleigh. Yes we did stop at it the last time we were up there. I must say I was surprised by the prices. They were the same or lower than the grocery stores we have here. Thing is I'm not driving 2 hours each way to do grocery shopping, but the next time we go to Raleigh I will remember to take a cooler with us. Since we didn't have a cooler we didn't even bother to look at refrigerated or frozen items. (Don't know if Wilmington has one or not, but that would still be over an hour drive each way).
