    Bento box!

Bought a bento box! Doesn't work on my bike! (tears) Any suggestions. I have my inhaler in my under seat pouch but I have to stop and pull it out. If I has something in front of me I could just take it out without stopping. and my tissues. My nose runs all the time, sence I was born! Which is why i have asthma. But at least it doesn't stop me from what I like to do. My Dr said it helps make me lungs stronger when I excersise. I can not believe I used to smoke. Man I am so glad I don't anymore, can't even imagine it.

Can you describe what isn't working when you try to install it? Pictures, maybe?

I have a Bento Box on my hybrid - works just fine. Why won't it work on your bike? Mine has velcro straps that wrap around the top tube and the head tube. Got it from Performance for $10.

    Good job!

This is a wee bit off topic, but I wanted to tell you GREAT JOB for kicking the smoking habit. I cannot even imagine how hard that would be.

I am glad you have a biking habit now!

ok here is a photo! can you tell what is going on? Note that the top tube and bottom tube come together and there is about a 2 inch weld between them which is why it is not working.

There are two sets of velcro straps to go around the neck. But it is two short for that. And the lower straps don't work at all cause of where the weld is.

Do you have taget stores in your area? I got a great lil bag from there. It's about 8" long and a cylindar shape with a zipper closure. It has 2 velcro straps that just wrap around your handle bars. I strap it on so that if faces me. I can fit an inhaler, keys and a snack just fine! I never even use my inhaler anymore, it's just there for security! I hope cycling does the same for you.

I just bought one (copied caligurl's) that's a topeak. Its pretty small and sleek and you can get them at performance online. They were on sale for 19.99 at one point.

Did you try the bento box around the top tube and seat post? If it didn't fit in front, maybe it would work in back.

I was just thinking about that! Though I dunno about going on any group rides with that setup - I have this visual of saying "I need a snack" while rootin' around near my crotch...
