John Schnieder when he was in Dukes of Hazzard. I had posters all over my walls, and once joined a walk-a-thon and walked 20 miles because he was going to be there.

    I was in Jr. High.

These are so great. Donny Osmond was huge for me when I was like 8. I met him when I was 16. He was very nice.

Um, I think I'm going to win for the weirdest crush ever...I had a crush on Mighty Mouse when I was a child. Yes, the cartoon character. Go figure.

There was also a cartoon show called Battle of the Planets. I had a crush on one of the characters. His name was Mark. Again, a cartoon and a 'super hero'.

I think I had issues as a child!

My first live human crush that I remember was Mitch Gaylord during the 1980's Olympics.

Ooh, that reminds me...I had a supermegahuge crush on Greg Louganis. Really, I still do. I haven't seen much of him in the past 20 years, but every time I have seen him interviewed he still seems like such an approachable, friendly, class act. And he still looks so healthy, which I am so happy to see.

Erik Estrada. It's so funny to think about now. He made my heart flutter.

I saw footage of him doing yoga, and the man is a thing of beauty. He defies gravity.

I was never into celebrities and such. I just did not get the fascination. But I had a terrible horrible crush on one of my brother's friend. It's so embarassing now to look back. And I crushed on him for nearly a decade

And now he is old and balding and gained a bunch of weight. I'm so glad he didn't return my feelings! DH is way more hot!

I was more apt to fantasize about characters in books than anyone real. But I had the usual geek-girl thing about Mr. Spock.

    Childhood? or Now as well?

David Hasselhoff from "Night Rider". John Schnieder from "Dukes of Hazzard" and he looked dang good in "Smallville" too. Michael J. Fox had me smitten as well. I cried my heart out when Christopher Reeves died. He will always be Superman to me.

Now it's Joshua Jackson from "Fringe".

GLC, I LOVE that you had that crush.

Heh - I had a crush on KITT, not on the human in that show.

I think I just never quite got the celebrity awe thing...I still don't. I put incredible athletes higher than movie stars in my mind...so I guess I felt the same as a child. I did have a crush on Michael Jordan for awhile, too.

I did have plenty of crushes on boys in my real life though, that's for sure.

I think that it is quite possible that this is the first time I've EVER admitted to it, actually. I'm such a dweeb!
