Thom has been eyeing my arm coolers so I got him a set.

This is the first year in my life that I have not gotten sun burnt. Well, actually it's been since we were in Hawaii last April.

I've been thinking of getting a set of those, too. I'm not thrilled with the amount of sun damage I've gotten since I started riding.

I've been really happy with the De Soto arm coolers. I did my HIM at the end of July in them and a De Soto sun cooler bike jersey and it worked really well for me. I didn't overheat on the bike or the run.

Bike jersey is a pain in the neck to get on when you're wet. But it's not like those extra minutes in transition cost me a podium.

And the lack of burn on my lower back and shoulders was worth it!

What timing!! Just yesterday, I was getting annoyed with my running vest that is now huge on me (and flaps around a lot) and thinking that I needed a new one. Now I have one! Thanks, Susan and Jeff!
