Bees are also attracted to perfume, I could see if you shaved that morning you might smell perfumey. Glad they didn't sting.

My husband was creeped out by the grasshoppers which was kind of comical because he is a guy! Who says boys are tough?

Earlier this year we went for a slow walk in the park with my in-laws. I'd used a rose-scented moisturizer, and there was one honeybee that just would not leave me alone. She followed me for the whole lap! Never bothered me, but it was kind of weird.

I don't use perfume anything if I can manage it, my asthma doesn't like it. It is possible that the bees like my St. Ives Shea Butter body wash though...The temps had also gone pretty low the night before, but shooting up pretty quickly that afternoon so it was likely a few things.

Can't get the huge grasshoppers out of my mind, picturing the attack of the mutant grasshoppers

I am very glad I went riding Sunday, even if I did hurt my neck and back (back is fine, neck is on the mend). Considering we are in the third day of non-stop drenching rain all of the mountain bike trails are closed...so doubtful I can hit the trail for my birthday this Sunday anyway. I do want to wait until my neck is healed before I hit the trails again, no sense asking for trouble.

The wind was quite refreshing, the trees had served to filter them down to a reasonable level. Sweet!
